A couple days ago we updated the Portland region data. This was like a bug-fix release for software–no major changes were made, but a lot of little things here and there were improved and/or fixed.
Related to this (but still quite separate), we improved (hopefully!) the way routes are found. In particular, we made big changes for when the safer option is selected.

You’re still missing a link between the Esplanade and Springwater Corridor trail (mentioned in a discussion group posting in early August: http://groups.google.com/group/byCycle/browse_thread/thread/726ff635208d8b5c/6a2f8e61d30585f2#6a2f8e61d30585f2_
Currently after the Springwater Corridor trail you route people east on Carruthers, then north on 4th to Lincoln, then over to 7th, then north, then back on Madison.
Otherwise I think this is a fantastic tool, thank you!
